Family Vacation

Final Projects

On this page you will share your final projects with the class and your families at home.

What is the final project you might ask?  You and your group will create a Mixbook scrapbook of your vacation.  You will collect images from the internet to show where you went on vacation, form of travel to get there, what you did for entertainment, and what the educational piece was.

Add Your Links Here

You will use this link to go to Mixbook.com.  Once you and your group are there you will need to work together to create your interative web book.  The first step to creating the Mixbook is for the group leader to go in and make an account.  You will need to enter your email address and set a password.  Once you have an account you will need to click on the Photo book tap in the upper left hand corner of the screen.  It is in red.  You will choose a template to get started on.  You will then exit out of that screen and click on the My Projects button in the middle of the screen.  That will take you to a new page with your template on it and links on the right of the screen.  You will need to click on the collaboration link.  That link will take you to another page that asks you to enter emails of people you would like to have work on your book.  Here you will enter the other members of your group and me.

Expectations:

Your Mixbook will have at least 10 pages.  You will need a cover page, a title page, and then pages for each portion of your trip (the type of transportion, places you stayed, entertainment, and educational value).  Use the link below as a guide for what I expect it to look like.  Once you have completed your Mixbook you will let me know and I will add it to the website below.
